阿奈斯·阿苏尔 Anaís Azul

Anaís Azul (they/them) is a Peruvian-born, California-raised singer-songwriter and educator. Dubbed "the Peruvian Björk" (Bay Times), they produced their debut album Simp’ashani: Canciones Trenzadas (2024) as a Fulbright grantee, blending Quechua, English, and Spanish into experimental Andean songs & soundscapes with vocal looping. They've toured as a performer-educator across Perú, Mexico, Germany, France, and Japan, and performed at Mountain View, California’s first-ever Pride. Notably, Anaís Azul is a costar on Pluribus' (2025) debut season finale. Anaís is committed to learning from the resistance of colonized people to change the course of history one song at a time.
