Stan Blackwell, along with his brother Scott Blackwell, was a special effects supervisor for 24. Stan was with the show since Season 1, where he began during "Day 1: 1:00am-2:00am." He took over from Joel Blanchard. In January 31, 2025, director Jon Cassar confirmed on social media that Blackwell had passed away "recently".
