Eri Saito is a Japanese artist based in Tokyo. Born 1991 in Fukushima. Focusing on video, she creates works themed on such invisible and uncertain dynamics as memory and cognition. Her recent exhibitions include Yebisu International Festival for Art & Alternative Visions 2025 (Tokyo Photographic Art Museum, Tokyo, 2025), Artists in FAS 2024 (Fujisawa City Art Space, Kanagawa, 2025), how to make friends (Art Center Ongoing, Tokyo, 2023), and Until It Gets Dark (Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, 2021). Her video works have been shown at Beijing International Short Film Festival (Goethe-Institut China, Beijing, 2024), EXiS (Korean Film Archive, Seoul, 2024), and Prismatic Ground (Anthology Film Archives, New York, 2024), among other places. She received the Second Prize at the e-flux Film Award, held in New York in January 2024.
