Mickael-Sltan Mbanza is a young filmmaker trained at the Yole! Africa cultural exchange center. His artistic journey demonstrates his desire to question reality while infusing his film projects with an aesthetic and poetic dimension, in which he explores themes related to collective memory, trauma, and reconciliation with the past, seeking to transform the relationship with oneself and the world. In 2024, he received a SCAM Brouillon d'un Rêve Grant for his project SOLEIL LEVANT. His latest work NSALA (2025) was selected at FIDMarseille.
