Molly is a film producer with Irish roots from the South of France. She runs award-winning London based production company Backscatter Productions, which she founded in 2020 alongside Isabella Speaight, after becoming aware of a lack of connective tissue between underrepresented filmmakers. Driven by a desire to redress the gender imbalance on both sides of the camera, illuminate female authorship and tell bold and compelling stories. With a background in Biochemistry, followed by an actors' training, Molly found her niche at the intersection of creativity and problem solving in producing. Her films thus far have won selections and awards at Oscar, BAFTA & BIFA qualifying festivals worldwide.
