Martin Jauvat grew up in Chelles. A self-taught filmmaker, he began directing self-produced films in his hometown, Les vacances à Chelles and Mozeb. His first “produced” film, The Blood in the Vein, was selected by many festivals, including the 2022 César short-film competition. His first feature film, Grand Paris, was presented at ACID at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.
