古斯塔沃·迪卡瓦柳 Gustavo de Carvalho

The director and screenwriter grew up in the São Paulo countryside in Brazil and studied film and audiovisual media at the Universidade Anhembi Morumbi. He has made several short films set in small and isolated Brazilian towns which nevertheless focus on universal struggles: the search for meaning in everyday life, the violent political landscape, a thirst for justice, human relationships and the consequences of social inequality.
