The filmmaker was born in New York City, USA. His debut film, Severed Ways: The Norse Discovery of America, was released in cinemas in 2009. His next film, Out of Our Minds, premiered at Sundance and screened at the Worldcon science fiction convention. His first documentary, Peter and the Farm, also secured a cinema release and received rave reviews in “The Guardian” and “The New York Times”.
