Ranabir Das studied cinematography at the Film and Television Institute of India. As a practicing Producer and Cinematographer he has worked on Payal Kapadia’s experimental documentary “A Night of Knowing Nothing” and the short film “The Last Mango Before the Monsoon”. He was the cinematographer on Pushpendra Singh’s “The Shepherdess and the Seven Songs”.
