JT Trinidad (2001) is a filmmaker from Cebu and summa cum laude graduate of UP, where they now teach. Their shortthe river that never won at SGIFF and JOGJA-NETPAC and streams on Criterion. Their queer, place-based works have screened globally. In 2024, they won the Ani ng Dangal and joined top regional and international film labs.
