卡里姆·拉克扎德 Karim Lakzadeh

Karim Lakzadeh is a filmmaker working between alternative fiction and multi-genre storytelling, with a strong inclination toward experimentation. He began his career with short films such as The Gambler, leading to selections in festivals including FIFF. His feature, Red Head, was selected at Mannheim-Heidelberg International Film Festival. His next feature, The Great Leap, was screened in 2021 at the Fantaspoa International Fantastic Film Festival, and his film Dark Matter was also presented at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. His works are characterized by a distinctive, experimental approach to narrative and form.
